The Beach
The beach is located 18 km from Maceió, state of Alagoas capital. The proximity brings easy availability of banks, exchange, airport, etc.
There are many other options of leisure, food and beaches at Alagoas´s South Coast.
Climate
The climate is tropical, hot and humid. The hottest months are December and January, when the temperature reach 36ºC. The lowest temperatures (21ºC), usually register in the months of July and August.
Food
The local kitchen has stars like "sururu", clam found in the lagoons of Manguaba and Mundaú. It can be eated in diverse plates, as "caldinho", known as aphrodisiac in the region. Beyond excellent plates of fish and fruits of the sea, the visitors can opt to other specialties of the international kitchen, served in the restaurants of the city.
The South coast
Praia do Francês: One of most
beautiful of the South coast. Its natural poll is formed by an extensive
reef barrier, with rich sea fauna and waters that go of blue turquoise
to the green.
Gunga Beach(15km): Was elect one of 10 more beautiful beaches
of the country. Its white sand, framed for coconut palms joining waters
of the River São Miguel with the ocean. Bar of Is Miguel
Barra de São Miguel (10km) the proximity of reefs forms
a natural swimming pool for almost all extension of the beach. One of
preferred of tourist and the local people. Good infrastructure.

Local art, gifts and many other interesting things can be found in easily found specific shoppings.
How to arrive
By air: the airport of Maceió receives flights from all the Brazilian capitals and some international ones.
By Road: Maceió is reached through BRs 104 and 101 routes.
